Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (10-hour day shift; start time may vary between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer infusion and chemotherapy treatments safely and competently
- Assess and monitor oncology patients before, during, and after therapy
- Document treatments, reactions, and care plans accurately in EPIC
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families about infusion procedures, side effect management, and home care
- Maintain strict chemotherapy safety and handling protocols to protect patients and staff
- Respond promptly to clinical changes and escalate concerns as needed
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- Current BLS recognition (required)
- Chemotherapy certification with recent chemotherapy administration experience (required)
- Recent infusion clinic experience (required)
- Four years of acute nursing experience in an Oncology setting (required)
- Experience with EPIC EMR (required)
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and compassion for oncology patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in infusion therapy and chemotherapy administration
- Solid knowledge of oncology nursing principles and symptom management
- Proficient use of EPIC for documentation and order management
- Venous access care and infusion pump management
- Chemotherapy safety, handling, and disposal procedures
- Patient education, teaching, and supportive communication skills
- Accurate clinical documentation and medication administration practices
