Job Title: Surgical Processing Technician (SPT) / Sterile Processing Technician
Location: West Hollywood, CA
Assignment Type: 13-Week Contract
Shift: Night Shift (5x8 schedule)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years
Pay Rate: $29 – $31 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Surgical Processing Technician (SPT) for a 13-week contract assignment in West Hollywood, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and medical equipment to support safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment

• Prepare and assemble surgical trays and instrument sets

• Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and washer-disinfectors

• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage

• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and logs

• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of sterile supplies

• Collaborate with surgical teams to meet procedural needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Sterile Processing/Surgical Processing experience

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) – Preferred (or equivalent certification)

• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards

• Familiarity with surgical instruments and equipment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
