Candidate Pay Rate: $85 - $59.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized speech-language therapy treatment plans
- Diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to improve communication and safety
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and adapt interventions as residents progress
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and revise plans of care as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members to coordinate care
- Educate residents and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety to enhance independence
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and comply with facility standards
Qualifications
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous SNF, rehabilitation, or geriatric therapy experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, patient care, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; compassionate approach to resident care
Education
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
