Shift Type: Sunday - Wednesday OR Tuesday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality psychological and clinical counseling services to patients in a correctional setting
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and create individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with custody staff, medical teams, and behavioral health colleagues to coordinate care
  • Document clinical encounters, progress notes, and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Respond professionally to crises and provide crisis intervention when necessary

Qualifications

  • Active LPCC or equivalent Psychologist licensure (PSYL) as required to practice
  • Clinical experience in mental health or clinical counseling; experience in correctional or forensic settings is a plus
  • Ability to work Monday-Thursday or the alternate Sun-Wed / Tue-Fri schedules as required by the facility
  • Ability to pass facility-required background checks, security clearance, and any health screenings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in clinical documentation

Education

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field (Doctoral preferred for Psychologist roles)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapies and crisis intervention
  • Strong documentation and case management abilities
  • Comfort working in structured, security-focused environments
  • Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
