Shift Type: 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM, flexible schedule as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist orthodontist during patient procedures, including bonding, banding, and wire adjustments
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
Take and process dental x-rays and impressions
Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
Handle front-desk duties as needed, including scheduling and check-in

Qualifications

Current certification as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant (required)
Maryland Dental Assistant license or eligibility
CPR/BLS certification
Experience with orthodontic software (e.g., Denticon) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in orthodontic procedures and instruments
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
