• Job Summary:
• Ultrasound Technologist
• Under general supervision and following established procedures, operates highly technical Ultrasound equipment which produces high-frequency sound to acquire images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed high-frequency sound for diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Works effectively with patients and the patient's families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. Must be able to perform breast imaging & DVT exams.
