Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as a patient advocate and circulator during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
• Utilize your expertise in Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, and Robotics cases to provide top-notch patient care.
• Collaborate with a dynamic surgical team to deliver seamless operative care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic, ensuring continuity of care.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support emergency and after-hours surgeries.

Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• 2+ years of Operating Room experience
• Experience with Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, and Robotics cases (required)
• Prior experience as a circulator and scrub (preferred)
• CNOR certification (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of sterile field and surgical instrumentation
• Patient advocacy and excellent communication skills
• Proficient with Epic EMR
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
