Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to help them restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans that align with each patient's goals
• Document services accurately and timely to support quality care and continuity
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs per state practice acts and facility guidelines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to create a seamless therapy experience
• Champion safety, infection control, and regulatory standards in every interaction

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
• Active Nebraska Physical Therapy license (or ability to obtain one)
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facility settings, schedules, and patient needs

Education

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical expertise in physical therapy evaluation and individualized treatment planning
• Clear, confident communication with patients, families, and healthcare teammates
• Meticulous documentation that keeps records accurate and timely
• Experience supervising physical therapist assistants and rehab techs
• Collaborative mindset for interdisciplinary teamwork and family involvement
• Working knowledge of safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
• Adaptability to thrive in new environments and with diverse patient populations
