Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans to aid in accurate diagnosis
• Ensure patient safety by following strict MRI safety protocols
• Operate and calibrate MRI equipment for optimal imaging results
• Position patients comfortably and accurately for each exam
• Administer contrast media as ordered and monitor patients for reactions
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes
• Maintain detailed patient records and images in the electronic health system

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Florida State License or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Experience with contrast administration and IV insertion
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• MRI safety and screening protocols
• Patient positioning and immobilization techniques
• IV insertion and contrast media administration
• MRI equipment operation and image post-processing
• Anatomy and pathology recognition for imaging
• Electronic health records and PACS systems
