Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Take and document vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist with meals and hydration, monitoring dietary needs and intake.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
• Build meaningful connections with residents and collaborate with nurses to deliver personalized care.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in New Hampshire or a VT/NH compact state.
• Comfortable working evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) including every weekend.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus.
• Must meet facility vaccination requirements or have an approved exemption.
• A caring, patient, and reliable attitude with a passion for helping others.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Strong observation and communication skills to report changes in resident condition.
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills to support a positive care environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare setting and adapting to resident needs.
