Location: Rutland, Vermont

End Date: 10-19-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Shift 2 (Afternoon/Evening): 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, every other weekend commitment
Hours per Week: 37
Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care and support to residents, helping them maintain dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure safety
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Create a warm, welcoming environment for residents and their families
Qualifications
- Active LNA certification in Vermont or New Hampshire
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination, or an approved medical or religious exemption
- Reliable transportation - you'll need your own vehicle for this assignment
- Valid government-issued ID (state or federal) for facility badging
- Willingness to work every other weekend and commit to the full 11-week contract
- Comfort with background checks and facility onboarding requirements

- Resident care fundamentals and safety practices
- Accurate vital sign measurement and documentation
- Clear communication with residents, families, and the care team
- Compassion and patience in daily interactions
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing resident needs
