Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Single scrub for cardiac surgery cases with precision and expertise
Scrub for a variety of surgical procedures including ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gyn as needed
Prepare and maintain sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready for surgery
Assist surgical team during procedures, anticipating needs and passing instruments efficiently
Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical instruments and supplies post-procedure

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Tech in a CVOR setting
Ability to independently single scrub for cardiac cases
Experience in ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gyn preferred

Education

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac surgery instrumentation and techniques
Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices
Familiarity with a wide range of surgical specialties
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt quickly to changing case schedules
