Education

• Common Cases Total joints, spines (simple and complex), sport medicine
• Experience or 'Must have' skills Strong orthopedic and/or spine, preferably both
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Charge RN in unit
• Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 0630-1700, set schedule
• Weeknight/Call Requirements 2-3 late stays per week, no traditional call,
• Weekend/Call Requirements 2 Saturdays in q4
• Holiday/Call Requirements No holidays
• What is call response time? N/A - no traditional call
• Floating Requirements no floating outside of unit - if needed could float within zone 3
• Scrub Color/Dress Code Scrubs provided
• Unit/Department specific orientation Hospital and unit orientation week one, Monday-Friday
