Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular procedures in the CVOR
Prepare and maintain a sterile field to ensure patient safety
Set up and operate surgical instruments and equipment
Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently
Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies
Document procedures accurately and collaborate with the surgical team

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience in CVOR preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in sterile technique and aseptic practices
Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment for CV procedures
Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and adapt quickly
Understanding of anatomy and surgical procedures
Strong organizational and time management skills
