Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate outpatient noninvasive cardiology care in a welcoming clinical practice
• Manage a dedicated patient panel alongside one physician and two Advanced Practice Providers
• Perform and interpret EKGs to guide accurate diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning
• Conduct ambulatory cardiac monitoring and deliver clear result interpretations
• Perform transthoracic echocardiography to support high-quality patient diagnostics
• Coordinate seamless care with referral centers for any inpatient or advanced cardiovascular needs
• Maintain excellent patient safety standards, thorough documentation, and diagnostic accuracy
• Collaborate daily with interdisciplinary teams across internal medicine, neurology, orthopaedics, and more

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology
• Current Vermont medical license or willingness to obtain one
• At least one year of post-training cardiology experience
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with patients and care teams
• CPR certification for healthcare providers (must be obtained prior to start)
• DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start)

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiology expertise with focus on noninvasive diagnostic services
• EKG interpretation and ambulatory cardiac monitoring
• Transthoracic echocardiography performance and interpretation
• Optional skills in nuclear stress testing, stress echocardiography, and device management
• Ability to coordinate care across multiple specialties for comprehensive patient support
