Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ speech, language, and swallowing abilities using evidence‑based tools
• Develop individualized treatment plans that target communication goals
• Provide direct therapy sessions and monitor progress toward measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to integrate communication strategies into overall care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist in Maine
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute or outpatient settings
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Proficiency in assessment instruments and therapy techniques
• Ability to create and modify treatment plans based on data
• Effective communication with patients, families, and staff
