Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication needs and design individualized therapy plans
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to support students across ages and abilities
• Develop, write, and manage IEP goals and documentation in partnership with teachers and families
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to integrate therapy into the school day
• Monitor progress through data collection and adjust interventions to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in team meetings, screenings, and parent conferences with professionalism and compassion
• Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellows and support staff as part of a collaborative learning environment

Qualifications

• Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidate or certified SLP (CF required for this posting)
• Eligible for or holding an Oregon state SLP license (active, pending, or in process)
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• School-based experience preferred, with comfort navigating IEPs and school procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to complete required background checks and comply with district onboarding

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CF) or CF eligibility

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with pediatric speech and language assessments and intervention strategies
• Experience writing measurable IEP goals and managing IEP timelines
• Skilled in progress monitoring, data collection, and documentation
• Comfort with classroom collaboration, consultative service delivery, and co-treatment
• Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and differentiated instruction
• Ability to adapt therapy to diverse learners and work effectively with families
