Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in their homes across a multi-county territory
Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in adults with CVA, aphasia, and other conditions
Develop and implement individualized care plans to help patients regain independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team for coordinated patient care
Document patient progress accurately and timely using provided tablet

Qualifications

Must hold an active Kentucky SLP license at time of submission - no pending licenses accepted
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Home health experience required
Current BLS certification required
CCC-SLP credential preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Experience with adult neurogenic disorders (CVA, aphasia)
Ability to travel independently across a large geographic area
Proficient with electronic documentation and telehealth platforms
