Sonographer - Ultrasound

Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and Monday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; open to 4x10-hour shifts Friday-Monday. On-call after 9pm and weekends.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive ultrasound exams including vascular, OB (all trimesters), and interventional procedures
Collaborate with radiologists to provide accurate diagnostic images
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
Maintain high standards of image quality and documentation
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including Toshiba and Phillips units

Qualifications

BLS certification required
ARDMS certification in RDMS, RDCS, or RVT (or RVS through CCI)
Minimum 1-2 years experience in general ultrasound, OB, and vascular
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in general ultrasound, OB ultrasound, and vascular ultrasound
Experience with EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS
Familiarity with Toshiba and Phillips ultrasound equipment is a plus
Strong communication and patient care skills
