Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate 1:1 nursing care to a middle school male student
• Administer G-tube feedings and manage enteral nutrition safely
• Support mobility using Hoyer lift and ensure safe transfers
• Perform total dependent care and assist with daily living tasks
• Coordinate student transport needs and communicate with school staff and bus drivers
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with family and school team
• Follow care plan, report changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Washington (LPN or RN candidates encouraged)
• Experience with pediatric or school nursing preferred
• Comfortable and experienced with G-tube feedings and Hoyer lifts
• Valid BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to pass background check and required school clearances
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and family

Education

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) — active Washington license preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric and school-based nursing practices
• Enteral feeding (G-tube) management
• Safe Hoyer lift operation and patient transfers
• Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Accurate documentation and electronic charting
• Calm, patient-centered approach to one-on-one care
