Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Days, 40 hours/week, 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts depending on unit need, may include weekends and call shifts
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $98 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during procedures
- Provide high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless care
- Float between Mercy Hospital Downtown and Mercy Southwest
Qualifications
- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in Ortho, Robotics, Neuro, and GYN
- Cerner experience required
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments
