Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nursing care to surgical cardiac patients
- Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms closely
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on post-surgical care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Iowa or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical cardiac or critical care nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation
- Knowledge of post-surgical cardiac care protocols
- Proficiency in IV therapy and medication administration
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
