Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends (every other weekend: Fri/Sat for nights, Sat/Sun for days), holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in our Multi Care Unit, including ICU, PCU, and Med Surg patients
Titrate and manage critical drips such as sedation, vasopressors, and insulin
Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs and monitor telemetry for ICU patients
Collaborate with charge nurses, respiratory therapists, and nurse aids to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to other units as needed, including EC MST, Pediatric, and West Campus ICU/PCU, to maintain competency
Participate in standby rotation during low census periods

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona (or compact state)
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, or 1 year ICU + 1 year PCU/Med Surg in a larger facility
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts
Comfortable titrating drips and managing high-acuity patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong skills in 12-lead EKG and telemetry monitoring
Proficient in drip titration for sedation, vasopressors, and insulin
Knowledge of medical ICU diagnoses: sepsis, withdrawal, COPD, pneumonia, DKA, etc.
Ability to provide primary care and manage nurse-patient ratios (ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST 1:5-6)
