Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert care to laboring and postpartum patients in a dynamic LDRP unit
• Attend deliveries independently and assist with cesarean sections as a circulator
• Transition newborns and support immediate baby care after birth
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart tracings using Centricity-perinatal system
• Titrate critical drips including magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin as needed
• Collaborate with a 24/7 in-house OB hospitalist and NNP team for high-risk cases
• Float within the mother-baby unit (postpartum) as needed to maintain continuum of care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience (no first-time travelers)
• Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
• Experience with baby transitioning and low-risk deliveries
• Must provide 2 years of references with submission
• Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• LDRP nursing: labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum care
• C-section circulating and assisting
• Newborn transitioning and immediate care
• Fetal heart monitoring (intermediate/advanced)
• Titration of magnesium, pitocin, and insulin drips
• EPIC charting proficiency
