Education

• Common diagnoses/Types of patients AMI, CAD, PVD,
• Experience or 'Must have' skills IABP, CRRT, Fresh OHS from the OR experience
• Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes
• Common titratable &/or set rate drips Dex, Propofol, Dop, Neo, Epi, Levo, Insulin, Cardene,
• Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Both 24/7
• Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios No
• Hospitalist or Intensivist in house Intensivists
• RT in ICU 24/7 Available not unit specific but department specific may share with the ICU
• RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, Bi Pap, etc) Vents, Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm, Hi Flow
• Is there tele on this unit? In room monitors only - Nihon Khoden Monitor Techs? No RNs read strips? RNs read strips
• Shifts & Scheduling 12 hrs 7/7
• Weekend Requirement Will be required to work 2 weekend shifts per pay period (two weeks), this is not every other weekend. It could be every Friday night or every Saturday night depending on the needs of the unit. At times every other weekend may be possible but will be available at the discretion of Nursing Leadership
