Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts (NOC), 3 shifts per week, rotating weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory treatments for adult and NICU patients
Assess patient condition, identify changes, and take appropriate action
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and home management
Transport infants to and from referral health systems, ensuring high-quality critical care
Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, performing preventive maintenance as needed

Qualifications

Active North Dakota Respiratory Therapist license (required before start)
RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications from AHA or RQI
Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
Ability to provide care for both adult and neonatal populations

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in respiratory therapy, cardiopulmonary care, and critical care
Proficiency with Point Click EMR
Strong patient assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
