Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate patient records using EHRS system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment safely and effectively

Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license in California
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred
• Experience in a correctional healthcare setting (CDCR) is highly valued
• Fully vaccinated candidates preferred (flu, COVID-19, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in EHRS (Electronic Health Record Systems)
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
• Knowledge of respiratory care protocols and best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
