Resident Assistant (RA) - Assisted Living
Location: Queensbury, NY
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (per diem - days vary based on coverage needs)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including showering, toileting, and dressing
- Make beds and maintain a clean, comfortable living environment
- Transport residents to activities and encourage engagement
- Respond promptly to call bells, ensuring resident safety and comfort
- Provide mobility assistance and support residents in maintaining independence
- Communicate observations and care provided to the nursing team
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with ADL assistance and mobility assistance preferred
- Must pass Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
- License/Certificate verification required
- Completion of Fit Test, 10 Panel Drug Screen, COVID-19 Vaccine, and Influenza Vaccine required
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Knowledge of safe mobility assistance techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond quickly and calmly to resident needs
- Empathy, patience, and respect for residents
- Team collaboration and following care plans
