Roles & Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy program including training and supervising hourly and contract staff
• Develops therapy programs in accordance with physician instructions
• Supervises and administers treatment to convalescing patients
• Observes patient condition during treatment and modifies prescribed treatment as needed
• Supervises clinical practice of physical therapy students
• Schedules patients for treatment and prepares periodic patient progress reports
• Responsible for the department's yearly budget
• Orders supplies and equipment from vendors

Qualifications

• Graduation from a School of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
• Current licensure in Washington State
• BLS certification
• Five years of practical physical therapy experience
• Three years management experience in a Rehab Therapy department

Education

• Graduation from a School of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
