Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver life-saving respiratory therapy services as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status, adjusting treatments as needed
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and equipment use
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and Pyxis systems

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - CRT not accepted
• Active Ohio RCP license prior to start
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association only
• Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis medication management

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Comfortable with technology: Epic, Pyxis, and network systems
