Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with every other weekend for Tele units and 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period for MedSurg units

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80.41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients across multiple units
• Interpret EKGs and titrate cardiac drips such as Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine per protocol
• Float between Tele, MedSurg, ICU, Cardiac Tele, and holding areas as needed
• Support patients recovering from post cath, vascular procedures, CABG, neuro surgeries, spine surgery, CVAs post TPA, ortho, and oncology
• Collaborate with charge nurses, clinical supervisors, PCTs, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document accurately in Cerner and communicate clearly during handoffs and campus transfers

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification for neuro units
• Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac drip titration skills
• Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam before contract signing and a Sim Lab on day one
• Comfort with floating across units and between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses
• Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing preferred
