Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain post‑operative surgical sites and wound care
• Perform wound vac maintenance and dressing changes
• Manage Foley catheter care with continuous bladder irrigation
• Change and maintain ostomy appliances
• Insert and suction nasogastric tubes
• Administer TPN and blood products
• Provide central line care and dressing changes
• Deliver bedside shift reports
• Ensure prompt attendance and open communication
• Maintain a professional appearance and responsive patient care

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Background in post‑operative surgical areas (vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, colorectal)
• Strong time‑management and efficiency skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
