Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to catch subtle changes early
• Provide specialized nursing care for stroke and neurology patients
• Administer and manage cardiac drips with precision and confidence
• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments using NIHSS
• Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech system

Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry and stroke nursing experience
• Experience with cardiac drips and basic dysrhythmia interpretation
• Must thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment

• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
• Stroke care best practices and NIHSS scoring
• Cardiac drip administration and management
• Neurology nursing expertise
• Meditech EHR documentation
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
