Registered Nurse (RN) - Multi Care Unit

Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, day shift 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or night shift 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend (Fri/Sat for nights, Sat/Sun for days), holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population in our Multi Care Unit, including ICU, PCU, and MST patients
Monitor telemetry and interpret 12-lead EKGs to ensure patient safety
Titrate vasopressors, sedation, and insulin drips as ordered
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to manage acuity-adaptable beds
Float to East Campus MST/Pediatric unit and West Campus ICU/PCU as needed to maintain competency
Participate in standby rotation during low census periods

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona (or compact state) - we can help with licensure
At least 2 years of ICU experience, or 1 year ICU plus 1 year PCU/Med Surg in a larger facility
Pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80% within two attempts before signing contract
Willing to float between campuses with a two-hour notice
Strong critical thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

ICU nursing, telemetry monitoring, and drip titration
Proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and 12-lead EKG interpretation
Experience with ventilators and non-titratable infusions
Ability to manage patients with sepsis, DKA, respiratory arrest, and withdrawal syndromes
