Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to acute and swing bed patients in a 22-bed unit
Titrate drips and monitor telemetry strips for ED and MedSurg patients
Collaborate with charge nurse and float to ED holds as needed
Deliver patient education and support recovery with a focus on safety and quality
Work alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced, small-town hospital setting

Qualifications

One year of MedSurg experience required
Current, unencumbered RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to titrate drips and read telemetry strips
Comfortable working in a swing unit (ED/MedSurg) with floating expectations

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in IV therapy, medication administration, and titration
Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit priorities
