Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms for up to 6 patients per shift
• Provide compassionate care to patients with medical-surgical and step-down needs
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs and CNAs in a fast-paced, short-stay unit
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Document patient progress in Cerner EMR with accuracy and efficiency
• Float to other units as needed, bringing your PCU expertise wherever it's required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Progressive Care or Telemetry experience required
• Current and unrestricted RN license in North Carolina or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Telemetry competency and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
• Recent PCU/step-down experience preferred - apply and be considered first!

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Proficient with Cerner EMR system
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization in a high-turnover environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork with a positive, patient-focused attitude
• Ability to float and adapt quickly to different unit needs
