Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical services in the outpatient clinic, collaborating with providers and staff to ensure excellent patient care.
• Lead and support clinic operations, including front desk functions, to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
• Maintain medication inventory, supplies, and perform quality control checks for point-of-care testing.
• Document all care and services with precision and timeliness, ensuring compliance with SEARHC standards.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures for provider clinics, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Anticipate the needs of patients, providers, and fellow staff to deliver proactive, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license - Alaska license required at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of primary care experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and its application in a clinical setting
• Understanding of customer service principles, safety, and infection control
• Skilled in patient assessment, specimen collection, and using medical equipment and computers
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task, work independently in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate as a team player
• Adept at problem-solving, critical thinking, and teaching when appropriate
