• Unit Information: Peds Location: Mission Hospital Address: 509 Biltmore Ave Asheville, NC 28801 Floor: 3P Building: G General Information Tell us about the unit (s ) : PEDS and Oncology Number of Beds – 19 total (13 pediatric beds with 6 oncology beds) Number of Staff – 22 total ( 10 peds and 12 oncology) Type of staff: always staffed with at least 1 oncology nurse per day. Day Shift – 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RT s, 1 PCT Night Shift – 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RTs , 1 PCT Patient Ratios – 1:3, 1:4 , 1:5 Type of equipment - Alaris pumps EMR - Cerner Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. candidates with these skills will be considered first. Pediatric experience in hospital Pediatric Oncology List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Best personality Fit: Detail oriented and organized REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: PALS, BLS and for oncology need APHON Floating Area ( s ) : P ICU , NICU Dress Code : Scrub Color /Attire – all navy blue or white top Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines . Weekends and On call (if any) 6 weekend shifts with 2 being Saturdays
