Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), includes weekend and holiday rotations, schedule released 6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population in PCU/IMC units across multiple facilities
Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, and heparin infusions with precision
Float within Zone 1, adapting quickly to different unit environments and patient acuities
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
Monitor telemetry and assess patient conditions, responding to changes rapidly

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado (or compact state)
At least 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with cardiac drips and titration required
Strong floating skills and ability to travel within a 60-mile radius
Epic and neuro experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical expertise in cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, and general medical-surgical nursing
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and ECG interpretation
Excellent communication and adaptability
Skilled in medication administration and drip titration
Knowledge of EPIC electronic health record system
