Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and telemetry needs, including PCU-level care
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate IV drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Manage patients with conditions like cardiac cath, EP studies, pneumonia, sepsis, and acute on chronic diseases
• Float to PCU, medical-surgical, and ER hold areas as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/telemetry experience
• Ability to independently read and interpret cardiac strips
• Epic experience preferred; first-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring skills
• Proficiency in titrating critical drips and managing IV therapies
• Excellent patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced acute care setting
