Registered Nurse - PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
Location: Dallas, TX

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts), 13-week assignment
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU patients with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Monitor telemetry and assess patient status continuously
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurse, RNs, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent PCU/telemetry experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with Meditech EMR strongly preferred
- A collaborative, team-player attitude
