Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care to patients across a wide range of surgical specialties
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Monitor patients closely before, during, and after surgery for optimal outcomes
Serve as a Charge RN when needed, guiding the team and managing daily operations
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and follow all unit protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in Florida or compact license
Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
At least 1 year of Charge RN experience
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures including trauma, robotics, orthopedics, and open heart
Skilled in patient assessment and perioperative care
Proficient with Meditech documentation system
Ability to lead as Charge RN when required
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
