Shift Type: Tuesday-Thursday primarily, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with potential for additional weekday shifts based on availability

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Formulate individualized plans of care utilizing assessment data and input from patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record accurately and timely
• Provide care based on the best evidence available and participate in research activities within clinical practice
• Promote continuity of care by accurately communicating patient status to other caregivers
• Contribute to excellent patient outcomes through timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and safe care

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher, required
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license, or compact RN licensure
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned ASC services pediatrics
• Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in OR
• Strong orthopedic experience including Total Joints, Mako robotics, and Hanna table procedures preferred
• Experience with robotic-assisted General Surgery cases highly desirable

Education

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher

Knowledge & Skills

• Specialized knowledge and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan appropriate care
• Ability to evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients
• Strong orthopedic surgery experience including Total Joints and Mako Robotics
• Familiarity with Hanna Table and robotic-assisted General Surgery procedures
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high-volume OR environment
