Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional surgical patient care before, during and after procedures
• Assess, plan and implement nursing care throughout the surgical care continuum
• Create and maintain a sterile, safe surgical environment
• Monitor each patient's physical and emotional well-being with compassion
• Educate patients and families on pre-operative and post-operative expectations
• Coordinate care across surgical teams to keep every case running smoothly
• Float across vascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, robotic, urology and ENT specialties
• Scrub and circulate as needed to support your team

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current Operating Room experience
• Float experience across vascular, ortho, trauma, general surgery, robotic, urology and ENT
• Previous travel experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Scrub and circulate experience
• Active New York RN license (Nursys, BLS and ACLS uploaded with your profile)
• Must have your own vehicle, this one is a firm requirement
• Current skills checklist within the past year and a supervisory signed reference from the last two years
• Completed de-escalation training through Welle, CPI or PMCS for onboarding
