Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, includes on-call requirements and rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgeries: ortho, spine, joint replacement, ENT, urology, vascular, and more
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to changes promptly
Accurately document all care using Meditech system
Participate in on-call rotation as required

Qualifications

Active RN license in Florida or compact state
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in an acute care setting
Experience with ortho, spine, and joint replacement surgeries
Ability to scrub and circulate proficiently across all service lines
PALS and CNOR certification preferred
Charge nurse experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech documentation
Strong critical thinking and multi-tasking abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptable to fast-paced environment
Knowledge of surgical asepsis and sterile technique
