Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver expert perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing neurological and vascular surgeries in a Level 1 Trauma center
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond quickly to any changes during surgery
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergency surgeries

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Previous travel experience required
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• High rating on skills checklist including neuro and vascular
• Must be competent in Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard, and have access to these apps
• Ability to take call, work weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of operating room nursing practices and sterile technique
• Skilled in neuro and vascular surgical procedures
• Comfortable in high-acuity Level 1 Trauma environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient with electronic scheduling and documentation systems
