Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Thursday-Saturday nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing general, neuro, ortho trauma, and robotic surgeries
Assist surgeons during procedures including craniotomies, burr holes, and orthopedic trauma cases
Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia recovery in the operating room
Ensure sterile field and proper instrument handling throughout surgeries
Collaborate with charge nurse and surgical team for efficient patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license (any state, compact preferred)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 1-2 years of OR experience preferred
Proficiency with neuro, general, ortho trauma, and Da Vinci surgeries
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Operating Room nursing skills
Neuro surgery experience (burr holes, craniotomies)
General and orthopedic trauma surgery
Da Vinci robotic surgery proficiency
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle high-acuity level two trauma cases
