Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a fast-paced PCU/Med Surg unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for side effects
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Monitor hemodynamics and manage drips such as heparin and cardizem
Float to other PCU and Med Surg units as needed
Participate in hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemotherapy certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
First-time travelers welcome
EPIC experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

EPIC proficiency
Ventilator management
Hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, arterial line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
ICP monitoring
Chemotherapy administration
Team collaboration and strong communication
