Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a fast-paced PCU/Med-Surg unit
Monitor patients with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator support
Administer chemotherapy and manage chemotherapy-certified patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient-centered care
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed
Ensure hourly rounding and patient experience focus

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
Chemotherapy certification required
BLS and ACLS certification required
ONS/ONCC certification required
EPIC experience preferred
Valid driver's license required

Knowledge & Skills

Oncology nursing knowledge
PCU and Med/Surg skills
Ventilator management
Hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
Chemotherapy administration
EPIC EMR proficiency
Ability to titrate drips (insulin, cardizem)
