Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care for critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes with sterile technique
Monitor and manage premature infants, cardiac defects, genetic disorders, and surgical cases
Collaborate with neonatologists and midlevels in a 24/7 care environment
Float to mother-baby and labor care as needed (baby-specific care)

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Level 4 NICU experience required
Current BLS, NRP, and Cardiac STABLE certifications
Previous travel experience preferred
Must reside within 50-mile radius of Phoenix (verified by driver's license)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry monitoring
Expertise in sterile field technique, Foley catheter insertion, and central line dressing changes
Strong understanding of neonatal respiratory management and ECMO/cooling protocols
